This is Definitely not your Normal Christmas Concert!

Presenting a unique Christmas experience! No Jingle Bells,
Santa Smells, Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman. Not that we
don't like those songs but, we wanted to provide something completely different.
Get ready to boogie into the Christmas season.

This popular live music event features Hank Lionhart & Uncle Wiggly's Hot Shoes Blues Band
from Victoria & their Annual Christmas Blues Concert Tour - A Tribute to
the Blues Songs of Christmas.

With Special
Guests Jimmy
LeGuilloux, Rick Zipp, Anna Jacyszyn, “Poppa Dawg”, Gary Turlock
and Rob
Schaefer
performing other Christmas genres. Something for
everybody.

You will hear songs written or recorded by the likes of
Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, BB King, Eric Clapton, Charles Brown, Etta James,
and so many more. A look into the soul of some fabulous Holiday Blues
Songs written by the very Legends of the Blues themselves!

Come out for an early Christmas Treat!

Background:

UWHSBB, who have been around since 1978, are former RCA
Recording Artists, and members of the Victoria Music Hall of Fame. Touring
extensively back in the 80s, they opened for such legends as Muddy Waters, Joe
Cocker, James Cotton, Koko Taylor, and Paul Butterfield, to name just a few. As
well, in January 2015, UWHSBB won the honour of representing BC in Memphis at
the International Blues Challenge.

This show played to sold-out, packed houses and standing
ovations in Alberta for the past two years, and enjoys rave reviews locally
following their various Island performances.

Tickets $20 online and at the door.
